Michelle Griffin is a digital brand and marketing strategist/consultant who’s devoted her career to planning, growing and marketing connection.

For two decades, she served as the Executive Director of the Windstorm Insurance Network (WIND) a B2B professional association and lead marketer for the Windstorm Insurance Conference, an annual conference for 1,500+  insurance and legal professionals who attend from across the U.S. and abroad.

Michelle earned a master’s degree in Communication/Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton and a bachelor’s degree in Communication/Advertising from Florida State University. She is a StoryBrand Certified Marketing Guide and also holds numerous industry certifications in digital marketing, inbound/content marketing, email marketing, conversion copywriting and social media.

Community outreach is an important part of giving back. Michelle has volunteered on several nonprofit, civic and professional organizations in the Pensacola area. She currently serves on the planning team for ENTRECON 2020 and is an organizer and mentor coach for 1 Million Cups Pensacola, which hosts monthly events designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. 

As a marketing strategist and consultant, Michelle helps professional service providers and expert consultants enhance their online presence with brand strategy, clear messaging and story-based marketing so they attract the right audiences, inspire more people and grow their businesses.

Outside of marketing, you can find Michelle outside. She is an avid health, fitness, animal and nature evangelist, and is always on the quest to find new gluten-free/dairy-free and vegetarian offerings.

She is married to Mark and is a proud mom to two daughters, Lauren and Anna, and a son, Luke.

ITEN (Innovation, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Network) WIRED Summit is the Southeast’s premier cybersecurity and IT conference to connect, collaborate and build community with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and educators on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship topics.

The three-day event highlights the area’s cybersecurity, information technology and entrepreneurial communities and explores emerging technology and innovators in start-up tech, artificial intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies on the national scene.

The summit, which began as an economic development initiative in 2008 by the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, is now hosted by IT Gulf Coast.

ITEN WIRED is a not-for-profit, technology-focused conference.  Proceeds from the event are used to support IT Gulf Coast's local STEM initiatives, including endowments to the University of West Florida and Pensacola State College.

The next ITEN WIRED Summit will take place on October 18-20, 2023.
