Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, Leidos
Kelvin moved to Pensacola in November 2018 from the DC, Maryland, Virginia area, bringing with him a wealth of experience in cybersecurity and threat intelligence. Kelvin led Cyber Threat Operations at the CISA Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT). In this role, he was responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide analysis and product reporting, with a strong focus on the content and quality of analysis in the cyber threat product lines.

Kelvin’s expertise in conducting technical cyber threat intelligence analysis has been instrumental in supporting decision-making for Leadership and C-Suite level Executives. His thorough analysis helped identify cyber actors and their sponsor nations that consistently targeted the Department of Defense, Cleared Contractors, and the Financial Sector’s technology systems. This initiative provided leadership and investigators with actionable intelligence and insights into the nature of advanced and persistent threats.

In addition to his analytical skills, Kelvin is also responsible for ensuring that security solution designs meet customer functional and non-functional security requirements. He provides the necessary accreditation and certification assurance processes, ensuring robust security postures for the organizations he supports. Kelvin’s comprehensive approach to cybersecurity has made significant contributions to safeguarding critical infrastructure and enhancing the overall security posture of his clients.

ITEN WIRED: GROWING THE CYBER COAST

ITEN (Innovation, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Network) WIRED Summit is the Southeast’s premier cybersecurity and IT conference to connect, collaborate and build community with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and educators on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship topics.

The three-day event highlights the area’s cybersecurity, information technology and entrepreneurial communities and explores emerging technology and innovators in start-up tech, artificial intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies on the national scene.

The summit, which began as an economic development initiative in 2008 by the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, is now hosted by IT Gulf Coast.

ITEN WIRED is a not-for-profit, technology-focused conference.  Proceeds from the event are used to support IT Gulf Coast's local STEM initiatives, including endowments to the University of West Florida and Pensacola State College.

The next ITEN WIRED Summit will take place on October 18-20, 2023.
