Elisabeth A Doehring, SHRM-SCP, GPHR, PHR, CWWPM, gets tech. This HR, employee relations, and team wellbeing professional loves working with IT as well as recruiting and hiring tech leaders. Tech is part of her family DNA. Her first cousin, Brian McClendon, cofounded Key Hole, which became Google Earth.
An industry leader and teams recruiter, Elisabeth serves on HR Florida State Council as their first Wellbeing Director. This team is launching the new state wide program “Wellbeing Works Florida” initiative for employers and employees in the state of Florida. In addition, Elisabeth was keynote for UAB’s Innovaton in Wellness Conference, and has served as panelist with corporate innovation change leaders from Google and NFP. She is a frequent speaker at state SHRM conferences and was a speaker at the 2018 ITEN Wired Conference.
With nearly two decades of combined employee engagement, recruiting, well-being, and marketing experience, Elisabeth gets teams.
Elisabeth is an award-winning writer and top marketing professional, having served on the Board of Bay Area Ad Fed. Her published works appear in journals, magazines, major newspapers, and books in the United States and in Europe. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Elisabeth studied at Cumberland School of Law, and has guest lectured at Yale University and the University of South Carolina.
This is her second year to serve on the Marketing Team for ITEN Wired. She loves it!

ITEN WIRED: GROWING THE CYBER COAST
ITEN (Innovation Technology Entrepreneurship Network) WIRED Summit is the Southeast’s premier cybersecurity and IT conference to connect, collaborate and build community with industry leaders,
entrepreneurs and educators on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship topics.
The three-day event highlights the area’s cybersecurity, information technology and entrepreneurial communities and explores emerging technology and innovators in start-up tech, artificial intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies on the national scene.
The summit, which began as an economic development initiative in 2008 by the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, is now hosted by IT Gulf Coast and Florida West Economic Development Alliance.
ITEN WIRED also operates as a not-for-profit, tourism-focused, community event with proceeds being donated back to local STEM initiatives, including an endowment with the University of West Florida’s College of Science and Engineering.
