Strategy for Securing the Internet of Things
The Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming our lives with increased volume of data and interconnectivity. The features of smart homes or self-driving cars can be scaled to also benefit industrial plants or mass transportation, but so does the corresponding risk to individual consumers and the general public. Recent examples of IoT attacks highlight cybersecurity best practices that can be “baked in” to product development rather than “bolted on” after exploitation. We’ll explore methods to triage risk and prioritize efforts to improve cybersecurity for IoT.
