Greg McMenimen proudly served in and retired from the US Coast Guard and has over 30 years of experience leading development teams that have created software solutions for the DoD, government, Healthcare, and automotive industries. Throughout his career he has traveled the world building his skills in international relations and gaining a fondness for cultural immersion.

Greg empowers his team by creating a culture that encourages free communication, autonomy, and efficiency. He believes in having a freedom and responsibility approach that allows his team to grow and feel ownership in the products they are developing.

Greg lives in Pensacola and he is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Intelligent Retinal Imaging Systems. IRIS is the industry leader in early detection systems for diabetic retinopathy and other retinal pathologies. IRIS’s end-to-end diagnostic solution is designed to work within a primary care setting and helps to increase access and create better outcomes for patients with sight-threatening disease.
