The ITEN WIRED Innovation Awards is a unique opportunity for pre-seed and seed-stage companies to step into the spotlight at the annual ITEN WIRED Summit and present to a panel of experienced investors and technologists as judges to compete for $100K in awards! Three winners will receive awards of $50,000 for 1st place, $25,000 for 2nd place, and $25,000 for third place. These awards are non-dilutive and provided by Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) and Space Florida.
ITEN WIRED and TechFarms Capital have partnered to host the inaugural pitch competition.
QUALIFICATIONS
This pitch competition is for pre-seed or seed-stage companies in Northwest Florida. In certain instances, “pre-revenue” companies may be selected to pitch if the company is building an advanced technology solution.
All software, hardware and tech-enabled service businesses are encouraged to apply. Eligible startups have a product/service that’s live or in beta form and have measurable performance indicators such as revenue, customers, successful beta results, etc. Generally speaking, companies that are generating less than $1M in revenue run-rate, have raised <$2M in external capital, and are seeking to raise $5M or less in the next 12-18 months.

September 18th, 2023 — Private Notification of Finalists
Of the applications, only the top six startups will be selected to pitch at the ITEN WIRED Summit. Each finalist will first be notified privately of the invitation to pitch before the public announcement.
September 22nd, 2023 — Public Announcement of Finalists
You’ll automatically get visibility on our site, through the press release, in our announcement email, and in our announcement social posts.
October 19th, 2023 — Pitch Competition
The six finalists will have 6 minutes to pitch live on stage to an audience of 450+ tech leaders, entrepreneurs and investors and be scored by to our panel of guest judges. The winner will be announced following the closing keynote at the end of the day!
