Creative Data Concepts Limited, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Jim Nitterauer. Jim was born and raised on a farm outside Philadelphia, PA. He earned a B.S. degree in biology from Ursinus College and an M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Alabama. He moved to Gulf Breeze in 1989 to become a Microbiology Associate at the U.S. EPA Research Lab on Sabine Island after transferring from a position outside Washington D.C. After leaving the EPA in 1995, Jim founded Creative Data Concepts Limited, Inc. In 1998, Creative Data Concepts Limited, Inc. moved into their current location in downtown Pensacola.
So, how did Jim go from being a biologist to information technology? Jim has been working with computers since 1980. He is proficient in several programming languages including ColdFusion, Visual Basic, Transact SQL, C, C++, Object Pascal (Delphi), Object PAL (Paradox) and dBase V. He is working to complete his Microsoft MCSE certification. Jim is well known for his programming, technical and process automation skills. He decided to put it to good use and has been successful in his own business for over 12 years.
He continues to expand upon his entrepreneurial skills and experience. Recently, he also co-founded GridSouth Networks. GridSouth provides high capacity, high performance Grid Networking, 100 Mbps Internet service and managed web hosting services for the Microsoft Windows platform.
In his free time, Jim enjoys playing guitar, bike riding, running, rollerblading, shooting pool and outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and fishing. He and his family attend church at The Community Life Center in Gulf Breeze.
